I would (maybe) mount the tv on the wall to fill up that space a little more. I know it's a lot of work, so maybe not. But on the opposite wall, I think I would do 3 semi-big black and white pics of Sophie and y'all.

when i started reading #5 i thought oh no, what will it be - maybe we won't be friends anymore -and then i saw it was sharpies - and i totally got it. i LOVE sharpies. and in all those colors. dreamy.
second - sorry about wild woman having mono you said?!?!?!?! yuck. how is she today?
and third - what about in the playroom framing some of her art work - you could either do a bunch of different size ones and make like an "art wall" or line up 3 on top 3 on bottom with them - OR get some canvas and pick what colors you want and let sophie just paint all over the canvas. i framed the kids art in cute frames on the wall in our kitchen and i LOVE it and it has been easy to occasionally switch out the art. i love it so much i think i'm going to frame more in playroom! :) ok that is all i got today!!!

I have to say, I am LOVING the regular posting from you lady! Makes my heart happy to see another post in my reader. (Blogger reader, still haven't figured out this Google reader people speak of.)

So glad you got another snow day! And super impressed you didn't sit in your pjs all day watching tv like someone (ahem, me) would have done. Enjoy those sharpies!
