I was at ava&#39;s yesterday. definately NOT my cup of tea ( i.e. 20 5-6year olds = headache ) but ava was SO excited that her mom was there. Not a full fledged parental tornado in your classroom, just your room mom or someone who you think wouldn&#39;t mind coming and just helping you arrange treats on the plates and then cleaning afterwards. I am a teachers assistant, and if I was your assistant, I would have gladly helped you today :) If parents aren&#39;t an option, maybe one of the children from an older grade that you trust could come help. We do that a lot at the school I am at.
